1. Organizer

The giveaway is organized by:

MTÜ Sankofa Living & Learning is a non-profit organization incorporated in Estonia and operating in Portugal. Its statutory purpose is to support youth and children associations and initiatives that promote the welfare of young people and children.

2. Purpose of the Giveaway

The giveaway supports the statutory objectives of Sankofa Living & Learning, namely:

• developing educational and learning projects for children and youth;
• promoting youth welfare, environmental education, and cultural exchange;
• creating sustainable foundations for future initiatives (e.g., Camp Calma, Sankofa Learning Program, AfroVillage Initiative).

All proceeds are used exclusively to fund these non-profit programs.

3. Eligibility

Participation is open to all persons worldwide aged 18 or older, regardless of nationality or residence.

Excluded are:

• members of the organization,
• employees,
• and their direct relatives.

Participation is voluntary and may occur via donation or for free.

4. Duration

The giveaway runs from 17 October 2025 until 31 December 2025, 18:00 (Portugal time).

It consists of four phases; after each phase a drawing will take place on the following day at 19:00 (PT). The final drawing occurs on 31 December 2025 at 18:00 (PT).

5. Ways to Participate

a) Participation by Donation

For every € 1 donated via ticket.sankofa-ngo.org, participants receive one digital entry ('Ticket'). Donations directly support Sankofa's educational and youth projects.

b) Free Participation (AMOE)

Anyone may enter once per day for free by creating a simple account (email only) at ticket.sankofa-ngo.org and clicking 'Claim Your Free Daily Ticket'. Each free ticket can be assigned to a chosen prize and has the same winning odds as donation tickets.

c) Membership

By creating a free account or making a donation on ticket.sankofa-ngo.org, participation in the giveaway as well as a free membership with MTÜ Sankofa Living & Learning is established.

As part of this membership and to conduct the giveaway, the organization may send emails for the purpose of information, confirmation, ticket allocation, winner notification, or presenting similar non-profit projects.

Emails are sent exclusively in connection with the organization's statutory purposes and contain no commercial advertising. Participants may unsubscribe from such communications at any time by emailing privacy@sankofa-ngo.org. Withdrawal does not affect the legality of communications already sent.

6. Phases, Dates & Prizes

After each phase all tickets are reactivated, so they can be reused in the next phase. Selecting a prize also indicates which project the participant wishes to support. Projects are shown at: campcalmaprojects.sankofa-ngo.org

7. Draw and Transparency

Drawings are conducted electronically under supervision of organizational officers. For transparency, database snapshots (Supabase PostgreSQL Cloud) are archived to document all valid entries at the time of each draw.

8. Notification and Publication

Winners are notified by email within 7 days after each draw. If a winner fails to respond within 14 days, a new winner will be selected.

Winners agree to provide a photo of themselves with their prize and grant Sankofa Living & Learning a simple, royalty-free license to publish the image on its website, social media, or press materials. Only first name, initial of last name and country (e.g. 'Sara M., Portugal') will be used.

9. Origin of Prizes

All prizes are privately provided to the NGO by Daniel Duroshola under a written agreement of donation without monetary compensation. No cash substitute is available unless explicitly stated; if a prize becomes unavailable, a comparable alternative may be offered.

10. Liability

The organizer is not liable for technical malfunctions, transmission errors, or data loss. Cash payment or exchange of prizes is excluded, except as provided in Section 15 (b).

12. Non-Profit Status

MTÜ Sankofa Living & Learning is a non-profit, non-commercial organization.

13. Applicable Law

This giveaway is governed by Portuguese law.

15. Early Termination

a) Right to Modify

The organizer reserves the right to modify or terminate the giveaway for important reasons.

b) Prize Availability

If a prize becomes unavailable, a comparable replacement may be granted.
